Bratts Hill, in the parish of Clarendon Jamaica, is where the roots of Chef Darian's love for food grew, alongside his five sisters, mother, and many family members. His mom had a cook shop, where people could come grab Jamaican cuisine in a casual setting. This was the inspiration for the Jerk Hut menu.
“I used to help my mom in the cook shop every day and I’m like, I like this. I want to be a chef,” Bryan said. “I love the way food brings people together and I have a big family, that’s all what brings us together is food.”
